Geriatric Care Manager wrote, "Financial Assistance for Elderly Veterans and Their Widows Is A Well Kept Secret". I'm a veteran...and I didn't know that a vet or his or her widow (er) could receive up to $1,674 per month. I wasn't injured in Viet Nam. Well except for a major case of well denied Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Luckily I don't need the assistance, but, if you are a veteran or a widow or widower of a veteran...this is a must read.
