Is the "Fountain of Youth Project" (FOYP) a joke?

Why would Jeff do the FOYP?

I'm doing the FOYP for many reasons:

  • I want to live longer
  • I want to be healthier
  • I want to exercise...again
  • I want to feel good
  • I want to look good
  • I want to learn more
  • I want to remove my medical prescriptions
  • I want to eliminate or reverse my diseases
  • I want to share this knowledge
  • I want to show the MD's how it should be done

This project started as a twinkle in my eye a decade ago when I studied privately with Eric, my metabolic wiseman (MW) in order to write a weight loss book called "Pumping Fat".

I never finished writing the book, and I proceded down the slippery slope of complacency...leading to a fat non-active 57 year old. I know better...how did this happen?

I've always been amazed at the paradox of a diet. When I am on a weight loss plan:

  • I am inspired
  • I look better
  • I receive many compliments
  • My clothes fit better
  • I eat better
  • I feel better
  • Food tastes better

So what is the paradox?

While looking better, feeling better, getting compliments, clothes fitting better, food tasting better...for some deep psychological reason...I stop dieting. Why?

Diets don't work! Eventually, one falls off the cliff, feels bad, eats as a reward, gets fat, and stops exercising. Infact, most dieters leave the exercise alone (which is the most important part).

A lifestyle change is required to maintain your weight, your fitness, and your health.

If you follow my progress, and the sage advice of my Metabolic WiseMan (MW) ...you too can become healthier, more fit, and enjoy life more.

It really is that simple once you know the principles of a healthy lifestyle.

Watch me turn back my biological clock.
