| October 17, 2005 | | Stopping fructose intake for 2 weeks lowered my triglycerides from 500 to 168. | The Wiseman's fructose test on my triglycerides worked. Eric you are the best. Dr. Swamy Venutupoli my Rheumatologist/Internist says...LOWER THE MEDICATIONS! Here's the deal: - Liptor; down from 20 to 10 mg, it is the fiber
- Avapro; down from 300 to 150, it is the exercise
- Methotraxate; down from 20 to 15, Glucosamine rules
Results of tests at this time: - Overall cholesterol - 121 - increased fiber
- Triglycerides 168 from 500 - NO FRUCTOSE
- HDL - 26 - taking Niacin to increase
- LDL - 61- from 39
- VLDL - 33.6 - from 100.6
- Chol/HDL Ratio - 4.7 - from 6.6
Prognosis: Dr. V. says I can get off Lipitor, Avapro, and can lower Methotraxate to 10 mg if things stay the same. Woo hoo. How bout some fruit Eric? | | |
