For those of you following along with the Fountain of Youth Project and Jeff's changes in the last weeks and months you are hopefully as amazed and impressed as myself. In statistical parlance the term used for a measurement that is unusually large or small relative to other values in a data set is called an outlier. There are several reasons typically attributed to the value: - The measurement is observed, recorded, or entered incorrectly ... highly unlikely as repeated, regular blood test have been performed.
- The measurement comes from a different population ... highly likely; we know Jeff is a unique individual in many ways.
- The measurement is correct, but represents a rare event ... also highly likely, but not unheard of. You too can see amazing changes by modifying your diet, incorporating exercise, and changing your lifestyle.
Prior to starting the Fountain of Youth Project, Jeff was diagnosed with heart disease (hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia), diabetes (hyperglycemia), hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and the list goes on. Since starting the project a little over two months ago Jeff has: - Dropped his total-cholesterol to 121 mg/dl, LDL-cholesterol to 61.0 mg/dl, VLDL to 33.6 mg/dl, Chol/HDL ratio to 4.7%, and his triglycerides to 168 mg/dl (and lowering) and gotten off of Lipitor.
- Dropped his fasting blood glucose to 108 mg/dl and gotten off of Glyburide.
- Dropped his waking blood pressure to 121/78 and gotten off of Avapro.
- He has also lowered his daily aspirin dose from 325 mg. to 81 mg. and lowered his Methotrexate (arthritis medication) from 20 mg. to 15.
By initiating an exercise program and modifying his diet and eliminating or reducing some, and adding a couple of other, supplements to his regimen, Jeff has gotten off of all but one prescription medication and significantly reduced his disease risk and disease markers. You can't expect such phenomenal changes in such a short time. Jeff is definitely an outlier. But a favorable one at that. His dramatic changes have all been in the positive direction. You can however promote beneficial and positive, life-and-health changing improvements following a similar program under your physicians supervision which will produce an average drop in cholesterol of nine to 25 percent, an average drop in BP of one-to-two percent, and other impressive changes all within two-to-three weeks. While you may not see your blood cholesterol at a level of 121 mg/dl, a VLDL of 33.6 mg/dl, or your fasting blood glucose in the normal range you can significantly improve your physiological condition and health with a regression program similar to the Fountain of Youth Project. Who knows, you too may be an outlier. In addition, you will find there are healthier options for treating, managing, reversing, and preventing many of the degenerative diseases that are prevalent today. |
