| October 14, 2005 | | MRI suggests that an epidural shot or two might ease Edie's hip pain. | A ray of hope from the orthopedist. Dr. Anthony's assistant called us with the results of Edie's MRI. She said the doctor felt an epidural injection may help with Edie's pain in her hip and leg. There seems to be a disc in her back that may be the culprit. Sometimes it takes an epidural or two to do the trick, so on Monday, Edie and I will go to the hospital where an anesthesiologist will do the injection. I must tell you that when I told Edie this may help a ray of light shone in her eyes. That hope is in my eyes too. Seeing her get around easier would be wonderful. We're keeping our fingers crossed. | | |
