Check with your doctor before trying the FOYP...and then change...one or the other.

Following Jeff on our Fountain of Youth Project doesn't mean, for sure, you can too.

Jeff's positive changes in his health profile doesn't, necessarily, mean you can follow everything he does...at least not without first checking with your physician.

While I am modifying Jeff's dietary intake to allow him to get off and reduce most of his prescription medications you must first run it by your prescribing physician before doing so yourself.

Many supplements interact adversely with prescription medications. In addition, many nutraceuticals (nutrients with medicinal actions) work very much like drugs when taken individually and in large dosages. Taking both can adversely modify your condition.

Please consult your physician prior to incorporating any information from this site and or the Fountain of Youth Project.

I am working in conjunction with Jeff's doctors in modifying many aspects of Jeff's life. The program works as a whole and often making one change can have a large impact elsewhere. Doing so without proper supervision and consultation can be dangerous.

In addition, always defer to your physician and / or pharmacist before making decisions about medication reduction or supplement inclusion - many nutraceuticals interact adversely with prescription medications. They hopefully know more about those possibilities.

If your physician is not open to diet along with exercise and lifestyle modifications as a treatment option for your health you might consider making a change - in physicians that is.
