| August 09, 2005 | | Seniors sometimes have the problem of not wearing their button. | "Mom...If you don't wear the button from your medical alert it can't help you."
Medical alarms are not just for the shower and tub. Sometimes dad might fall out in the yard and have his medical alarm button sitting on the kitchen table. He's basically fine; he just has fallen and can't get up. Twenty-four hours later when no one has found him...he starts to become a less confident person. It horrifies me how many times I hear about the above scenarios. I know how a loved ones life begins to change when they feel less confident, less secure. A medical alert device from Senior Safety is worthless if you don't have the button on you to push for help when you can't reach the phone to dial 911. Our parents just need a little help and understanding. They helped us once, didn't they?
