MRI suggests that an epidural shot or two might ease Edie's hip pain.

<p>A ray of hope from the orthopedist. </p><p>Dr. Anthony's assistant called us with&nbsp;the results of Edie's MRI. She&nbsp;said&nbsp;the doctor&nbsp;felt an epidural injection may help with Edie's pain in her hip and leg.</p><p>There seems to be a disc in her back that may be the culprit.</p><p>Sometimes it takes an epidural or two to do the trick, so on Monday, Edie and I will go to the hospital where an anesthesiologist will do the injection.</p><p>I must tell you that when I told Edie this may help a ray of light shone in her eyes.</p><p>That hope is in my eyes too.
