Plugging in the Medical Alarm System

One weekend during brunch, Kenny and I spoke about the medical alarm issue again. We felt it was silly waiting for an accident to happen. Of course we hoped it was something Edie would never have to use, but we all had seen how it helped Ruth and Sam.

After rehashing the stories about my mom Ruth getting help for her breathing problems (emphysema), and Sam her husband getting help with his problems from Parkinson's Disease, she finally agreed and said, "better safe than sorry." Smart woman! Thank You!

We plugged her medical alarm system in 2 days later. It was so easy. All we had to do was plug the medical alarm system into a phone jack and an electrical outlet. The help button went around her neck. Edie pushed the button and in moments the operator asked her over the speaker box if she needed any help from the medical alarm monitoring center. Even Edie smiled at how easy it was to operate. She now knew help was available 24 hours a day at the push of the button, and she liked the operators voice in the box.

Well, we got over this hurdle.

Next?
